In an alternate universe, Jen Payne is a writer, artist, and author of the blog Random Acts of Writing. She has written and published five books — LOOK UP! Musings on the Nature of Mindfulness, Evidence of Flossing: What We Leave Behind, Waiting Out the Storm, Water Under the Bridge, and Sleeping with Ghosts: Poems & Musings — under the imprint of Three Chairs Publishing.
Her quarterly publication MANIFEST (zine), a hold-in-your-hands art installation featuring Jen’s writing and mixed-media collage work, along with photography, quotes, and bits and pieces of creative whatnot.
She is a member of the Arts Council of Greater New Haven, the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association, the Connecticut Poetry Society, and Guilford Arts Center.
